  • Challenging and exciting role leading and shaping a capable and experienced facilities team  

The Operations Coordinator is a member of the Facilities Team that is part of the Corporate Services Directorate. The Operations Coordinator will:

  • Lead the coordination of the Facilities site team’s operations to guarantee the provision of facilities and assets that meet the highest standards of cleanliness, accessibility, and functionality
  • Prioritise the safety and security of all facility users, creating an environment that fosters their well-being
  • Take charge of managing compliance with Statutory and Health and Safety regulations concerning buildings, contractors, hazardous materials, energy utilization, environmental sustainability, and relevant standards and policies

About you / He kōrero mōu 

As the ideal applicant you will have proven capability and experience in the following:

  • Facilities Management Knowledge (or similar IE Events Management, Trade Management, Contractor Management)
  • Problem-solving and ability to prioritise 
  • Financial Acumen (budgeting and cost control)
  • Team Leadership and strong communication skills
  • Basic Project Management (Plan, execute and monitor third-party contractor work)
  • Trades Background (desirable, but not an absolute requirement)
