We are seeking a reliable and conscientious person to join our team in a part time capacity. This role is essential in ensuring that children receive nutritious meals and that our learning environment remains safe, clean, and supportive.
Ngā mahi | Key Responsibilities
• Preparing and serving nutritious morning and afternoon teas for children across all rooms.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment, in line with food safety standards and early childhood regulations.
• Ensuring strict compliance with dietary requirements and allergy management protocols.
• Providing proactive and responsive assistance to teaching staff within the learning environment when available.
He kōrero mōu | About You
You bring:
• Demonstrated attention to detail, particularly regarding food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and contribute positively to the team environment.
• Reliability and flexibility to work 20–30 hours per week.
• Previous experience in food preparation or childcare support is desirable, though training will be provided.
