Kaupapa | Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide accurate and timely accounting, reporting and support to the Finance team. This includes:

  • Ensuring accuracy of accounting inputs
  • Efficiency of processing
  • Validation of outputs

Ngā Mahi | The Work

This role will be responsible for:

  • Processing of inwards receipts
  • Managing student refunds
  • Working with the Accountant’s team on financial input to our financial system
  • Customer service, working with ākonga and kaimahi
  • Assisting with reconciliations, journal entries and scholarships

Pūkenga | Skill

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification of at least diploma level in Accountancy
  • Good working knowledge of GST
  • Minimum of three years' experience in an accounts or administrator role
  • Proficient keyboarding skills
  • Strengths with numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Professional standard of written and oral communication for business purpose
