Come and join our team as an Ākonga Services Administrator and play a key role in supporting ākonga (students) from their first enquiry through to admission.

Ākonga Success is the primary ākonga support function at Toi Ohomai - dedicated to enhancing the holistic wellbeing, learning experience, and long-term success for ākonga. 

Ngā mahi | Key Responsibilities

· Provide accurate, timely support across enquiries, applications, and enrolments (domestic and international). 

· Deliver friendly, student-focused service across multiple channels – in person, phone, and email. 

· Maintain and update student records to ensure compliance and data integrity. 

· Support Information Centre operations and contribute to process improvements. 

· Champion kaupapa Māori values and foster an inclusive, culturally responsive environment.

He kōrero mōu | About You

You bring:

  • A      tertiary qualification in business administration or a related field, or      equivalent experience.

· Strong administrative and coordination skills, ideally in education or student services. 

Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and supporting Māori success. 

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. 

· A proactive, collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
